“ Discovered this restaurant with the family on a day trip to the island. Its on the backstreets away from the coast but from the menu and the staff you could tell instantly this was going to be a fantastic experience. We were not disappointed, we were made very welcome and the food was exceptional, highest quality products cooked to perfection. We normally wouldn’t have dessert but our kids tried a few and were very happy they did. Would highly recommend this amazing secret hidden gem. ”
“ Absolutely love this gem of a place on Isola Pescatori! My friend and were were touring Lake Maggiore for the day and took a boat to the island where your restaurant is located. She googled and found this special place. We had our own little outside balcony with beautiful, calming views of the surrounding area. The service was fantastic! We loved our sweet waiter, Ivo. We also spoke with another of the wait staff (I've forgotten her name); she was so kind. She also introduced us to the Chef because the food, the food...amazing! We both chose the day's special of ravioli with fish. Everything was fresh + melt in your mouth. Highly recommend Osteria Ara36 in every single way - and hope to return one day! ”
“ It’s outstanding food!! Service was excellent. The waitress did all alone with smile, professionalism with good English. The location is just next to the souvenir shop. Since the table is up stairs, many people don’t know that it’s restaurant and it’s open. We were first clients at that time :) They serve “amuse bouche” salmon with cream. It’s excellent ”
